With a design initially based on a piece of driftwood, you’ll be amazed by East Beach Cafe before you even step inside to taste its culinary offering. Eclectic exterior aside, the East Beach Cafe isn’t all style over substance (although it’s hard going when style is so overt). Food is delicious and classic, so it’s beer-battered fish and chips, East Beach burger and chips with onion marmalade (although adding a bit of Sussex cheddar is a must) or perhaps a nice bit of cod, pan-fried with spring onion mash. Either way, you’ll be as impressed inside as you were outside. AAM.
